The Natural Gas Distribution Technology Showcase is taking place at the NARUC Summer Policy Summit in Austin, TX. The goal of the Technology Showcase is to provide state public utility commissioners and staff with an opportunity to learn more about nascent natural gas distribution system and/or customer-facing technologies that might appear in upcoming rate cases and provide a chance for commissioners and staff to ask questions and engage in a dialogue about emerging technologies in a small group setting.

The following vendors and technologies will be featured at the Technology Showcase:
-Methane Intelligence: mobile natural gas leak detection (Aclima),
-Wireless gas meter monitoring (Copper Labs),
-Vacuum Purge System for Emission Reductions (GTI Energy),
-DeNova Detect Natural Gas Alarms (Heath Consultants), and
-Micro CHP Microgrids and High Efficiency Natural gas heat pumps (Yanmar Energy Systems).

The showcase is made possible by the U.S. Department of Energy-NARUC Natural Gas Partnership. There is no registration charge for this event, but we ask that you register in advance for planning purposes.

In order to participate in this event, you must be registered for the NARUC Summer Policy Summit.

Who Should Attend:

This event is open to commissioners, commission staff, consumer advocates, and federal government staff.
