Event Information:
The NARUC 2024 Winter Policy Summit is in-person only.
Online/advance registration is available through Friday, February 16. Register early and save! Onsite registration will be available beginning Sunday, February 25 at 10am. The event includes four days of meetings and activities. View the online agenda for specific details and times.

Cancellation and Other Policies:

Cancellations:
If you are unable to attend or secure a substitute from the same organization, cancellation must be submitted via email to btan@naruc.org. A refund less a 20% processing fee will apply prior to February 9. After February 9, no refund will be issued unless documentation of an emergency is submitted. Individuals who fail to attend the meeting (no-shows) will not be entitled to any refund. Fees are non transferrable to a future NARUC meeting. Substitutions may be made in advance by February 16 or afterwards onsite. Email meetings@naruc.org

Substitutions:
Substitutions are allowed by individuals within the same institution/company by February 16. A ‘NEW’ person must have a profile in the system; click this link to create a profile https://www.naruc.org/mynaruc/. For assistance, email meetings@naruc.org.

NARUC reserves the right to cancel courses due to the unlikely event of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a meeting is at capacity, canceled, or postponed, the Association will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for other costs or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines, travel agencies, or hotels.

Continuing Education Information:

A certificate of attendance is available during the meeting and may be obtained from the NARUC registration desk. The Winter Summit is not pre-approved for CLE credits.
If you require a certificate of attendance to self-submit to another state please pick up the certificate during the event.

General Hotel Information:

Room Reservations:

Individuals attending the NARUC Winter Committee Meeting must register for the meetings BEFORE reserving a room at the meetings Hotel at the NARUC Group Rate. Rooms in the NARUC hotel block are for NARUC registrants only. One reservation per registrant is allowed. Reservations by non-registrants or multiple hotel reservations are subject to immediate cancellation or rate change.

Room Reservations must be made through the NARUC housing link. Rooms booked through methods other than the NARUC housing link or with the hotel directly are subject to different rates and cannot and will not be adjusted by NARUC staff. (Housing link available to conference registrants only. See confirmation email for details)

Single/Double Occupancy: $299 plus 14.5% applicable taxes. This rate is based on availability within the NARUC room block. (Group rate is available until midnight February 1 or until sold out)
No call-in reservations accepted!

NOTE: Be wary of travel scams. If anyone claiming to be associated with a travel agency and/or “convention housing” contacts you with an offer for booking a hotel room for this event, do NOT provide your contact or payment information. This is a scam. NARUC does not contract with such firms. In some cases, these companies falsely claim to be the official housing bureau or room representative for NARUC. We have NOT contracted with any company to serve as our representative. If the headquarters hotel sells out – overflow hotels will be noted on our website.

Visitors can fly into one of Washington, DC's three airports, ride a train into magnificent Union Station or navigate the region's network of major highways for a speedy arrival and easy conveyance downtown. Click on the links below for more information.

Drive time: 20 minutes (10 miles) to downtown Washington

Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Drive time: 45 minutes (26 miles) to downtown Washington
Taxi Fare: approximately $65-75
Washington Flyer provides bus service to West Falls Church Metro station with departures every 45 minutes, and SuperShuttle offers door-to-door service.

Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI)
Drive time: 60 minutes (30 miles) to downtown Washington
Taxi Fare: approximately $85
