NARUC, NASEO, and NGA participants are invited to join a delegation visit to Knoxville, Tennessee scheduled for April 24-26, 2024. During this site visit, participants will have the opportunity to:
• Tour Oak Ridge National Laboratory nuclear research facilities,
• Participate in an Advanced Nuclear State Collaborative Roadmap Draft Review Workshop, and
• Connect with National Association of State Energy Officials and National Governors Association colleagues to explore economic development and workforce issues related to advanced nuclear.
Tours and activities will be scheduled for April 25 and 26 with April 24 and the afternoon of April 26 planned as travel days.
Travel reimbursement funding is available to commissioners and staff via the DOE-NARUC Nuclear Energy Partnership. Travel must be in accordance with federal rules and participants must receive pre-authorization and reimbursement instructions from NARUC before booking.
