Cancellation and Other Policies:

Cancellations:
If you are unable to attend or secure a substitute from the same organization, cancellation must be submitted via email to btan@naruc.org. A refund of less than a 20% processing fee will apply before July 1. After July 1, no refund will be issued unless documentation of an emergency is submitted. Individuals who fail to attend the meeting (no-shows) will not be entitled to any refund. Fees are non-transferrable to a future NARUC meeting. Substitutions may be made in advance or onsite. Email meetings@naruc.org by July 1.

Substitutions:
Substitutions are allowed by individuals within the same institution/company by July 5. After July 5, you can make substitutions onsite at the NARUC registration desk. If a 'NEW' person is being substituted, they must create a profile in the system by clicking on this link https://www.naruc.org/mynaruc/. For any assistance regarding substitutions before July 5, please email meetings@naruc.org.

NARUC reserves the right to cancel courses due to the unlikely event of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a meeting is at capacity, canceled, or postponed, the Association will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for other costs or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines, travel agencies, or hotels.

Continuing Education Information:

A certificate of attendance is available during the meeting and may be obtained from the NARUC registration desk or by email meetings@naruc.org after the Summit ends. The Summits are not pre-approved for CLE credits.

General Hotel Information:

Room Reservations:

All NARUC meetings will take place at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

Host hotels include the West Palm Beach Hilton and the West Palm Beach Marriott. Complimentary shuttle service is provided to the Center from both NARUC hotels.
The Hilton, which is connected to the Convention Center, requires a minimum stay of three nights July 14, 15 & 16. Cancellation is seven days prior to arrival.

The Marriott is a short walk or complimentary shuttle ride away. The Marriott has no minimum stay.

Individuals attending the NARUC Summer Policy Summit must register BEFORE reserving a hotel room at the NARUC Group Rate. Rooms may only be reserved using the link provided in the registration confirmation email. Rooms in the NARUC hotel blocks are for NARUC registrants only. One reservation per registrant. Non-registrants or multiple hotel reservations are subject to immediate cancellation or rate change.

Rooms booked through other methods or directly with the hotel may be subject to different rates and cannot and will not be adjusted by NARUC staff.

The room rate for both the Hilton and the Marriott is $179 plus 13% applicable taxes for single/double occupancy. This rate is based on availability within the NARUC room blocks. The group block closes at midnight on June 17. Please note that no call-in reservations are accepted.


Be wary of travel scams. If anyone claiming to be associated with a travel agency or "convention housing" contacts you with an offer to book a hotel room for this event, do NOT provide your contact or payment information. This is a scam! NARUC does not contract with such firms and has NOT contracted with any company to serve as our representative.
