Fundamentals of Electricity
This 3-day, 7.5 hour online, interactive course provides an introduction to the way electricity is generated, transmitted, and regulated. Taught by instructors from the Western Energy Institute, Fundamentals of Electricity will provide students with an understanding of the the technical and business issues affecting the energy industry, as well as the interplay among utilities, shareholders, and public utility commissions. Topics include generation, transmission, electricity markets, distributed energy resources, and emerging issues.

Cancellations:If you are unable to attend or secure a substitute from the same organization, cancellation must be submitted via email to btan@naruc.org. A refund less a 20% processing fee will be provided if the cancellation is received no later than one week prior to the start date of the course.
Substitutions:
If you cannot attend the class, you may substitute an individual from the same organization. The substitution must be made one week prior to the course.
