Join us in Philadelphia for an all-new Cybersecurity Training for Regulators.

The program includes lessons learned from real hacking situations and a live hacking demonstration. We will also take a deeper look at the operational technology (OT) that our utilities use. Want to learn from a former CISO his concerns about regulatory scope, or a former PUC President about regulations dealing with cyber security? The refreshed training content will focus on cybersecurity topics through the lens of a public utility regulator and kick it up a notch.

Subject matter experts, recruited from around the country, will provide insights, lead engaging discussions, and offer topical and timely “boots on the ground” perspectives.

While this new curriculum is offered as a “201” or “advanced” course, even if you haven’t taken the cyber training we’ve offered previously, you will still come away with practical insights and knowledge.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES
• Reinforce knowledge of IT and OT technologies
• Review cyber tactics, techniques and procedure that utilities use to identify and deter cyber attacks;
• Understand the spectrum of state and federal approaches to cybersecurity;
• Discover the range of available resources and new research underway to mitigate systemic cybersecurity risks to energy infrastructure;
• Identify cybersecurity cost recovery challenges and innovative solutions under consideration by Commissions today.
