The NARUC-NASEO Task Force on Comprehensive Electricity Planning will provide collaborative and flexible pathways for states to advance the state of the art of electricity system planning. New approaches can enable planning with increased transparency, valuable stakeholder input, and greater alignment across distribution-resource-transmission planning for a more holistic analysis of system and customer needs and possible solutions.
The NARUC-NASEO Task Force will share all resources developed under the two-year initiative during an interactive, virtual mini-workshop on February 11, 2021. Resources include: five example approaches that describe how aligned planning could work from a PUC/SEO perspective across different regulatory and market structures, a State Blueprint for Action that offers guidance on steps a state could take towards planning alignment, and actions that the 15 Task Force states are taking to advance aligned planning.
Zoom links will be sent to all registrants prior to the start of the event.
